- 1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed
- 1 tbsp olive oil OPTIONAL
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp salt
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Thoroughly dry the chickpeas. In a medium bowl, add dried chickpeas, olive oil (OPTIONAL), cumin, chili powder, cayenne pepper and salt. Toss well to coat evenly.
Spread chickpeas out on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Roast for 15-20 minutes.
Toss on the baking sheet, then roast for additional 15-20 minutes, or until browned.
Cool for 5-10 minutes.
