- 2.5 cups rolled oats
- 1.5 cup water
- 2.5 cups oat milk
- 4 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
For serving:
- 2 tbsp raw almonds chopped
- 2 tbsp hazelnuts chopped
- 2 bananas sliced
Cook oats with oat milk and water in a small pot over medium high heat. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and partially cover with lid. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and thickened.
Alternatively, cook oats in a pressure cooker, rice cooker or multi-cooker following directions for oatmeal.
Combine cooked oatmeal with cacao powder and maple syrup. Top with sliced bananas and chopped nuts.
