Non-Dairy Cherry Chocolate Shake

This dairy-free, vegan, WFPB plant-based chocolate shake is rich, chocolate-y, healthy and tastes amazing! As admitted chocoholics, we love this treat so much!

About this Recipe

This recipe was inspired by many other delicious concoctions made from recipes from the Minimalist Baker, Oh She Glows, Chloe Coscarelli, and others! 

That is one of the many ways to sneak more greens into your diet, especially if you have kids or partners who won’t touch anything green. They won’t even know how good this is for them. They’ll love the fact they’re getting a chocolate shake!

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen bananas

  • 1/3 cup frozen sour cherries

  • 2-3 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 2 tbsp almond butter

  • 1tbsp flax seed

  • 1.5 -2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk

  • 2 tsp maple syrup

  • 1/3 cup ice

  • handful spinach

  • 1 tsp vanilla

This recipe makes 4 8oz servings. 

Throw everything into your blender, and blend until smooth and creamy.

Play with topping combinations:

– cocoa nibs with a pinch of cayenne 

– fresh cherries, whole or pitted, and cocoa nibs

– Mint leaves and chocolate syrup drizzle…

Or just serve as is!
